Our 360° Approach

Over the years, EMESSA has integrated the entire production cycle, from cutting to the finished garment. Today, as a full-service manufacturer, we specialize in various stages of design, development and production for premium brands. With our R&D department and reliable partners, we operate as a vibrant hub of creativity and innovation, always striving to stay ahead of the curve.

“We are not just producers. We are partners to our brands. We understand their market. We understand their needs. We develop projects together in terms of their collection to achieve any improvement, whether it’s efficiency, sustainability, new products, new sourcing.”

– Anis Trabulsi

How do we do it?

We team up with our customers to effectively communicate about their products and find solutions together.
Our Research & Development (R&D) team works hand-in-hand with our customers and partners, acting as a dynamic think tank. We are constantly generating new ideas and anticipating emerging trends. Our team develops innovative designs and prototypes to meet our customers’ needs.
We are GOTS, RCS and OCS certified and can provide transaction certificates throughout the chain. Our factory processes have numerous certifications including BSCI, Higg, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2105 and ISO 45001:2018 compliance. We are also progressing towards WRAP compliance.
80% of our supply chain is based in North Africa and we source over 90% of our fabrics, threads and zippers directly from Egypt. This approach offers two significant benefits: it ensures a short and reliable supply chain and substantially reduces our carbon footprint.

Our second-quality rate decreased from 3.7% in 2020 to 1.8% in 2022. We advocate sustainable production practices including water treatment, chemical reduction and minimizing second-quality production to lessen environmental impact.

Since 2015 EMESSA has partnered with leading machine experts (e.g. Sharabati, DNM Textile) in spinning and weaving to deliver high-quality denim and cotton trousers tested by textile laboratories according to ISO standards. Our partners help us make progress in environmental sustainability, social sustainability and traceability.
We utilize the latest innovations and advanced methods such as Jeanologia laser technology, Nanotechnology and Ozone to create trend washes and finishes with a lower environmental impact.
We use organic and recycled cotton sourced from Africa as well as BCI and CmiA fabrics from Egypt. Season after season, we improve our fabrics and offer a wide range of options to reduce environmental impact.

second quality rate achieved in 2022, a decline from 3.7% in 2020
